Duck used to be great... but this place really went down. The last 3 times i ordered Pa Kra Pow it was never the same dish. Duck tasted old bland and possibly expired. I feel like they might just throw out any duck they have left or something. Drunken noodle used to be good until I got massive sheets of noodles. Like they didnt even bother to cut them. Every time I went in person it was ok... but seamless orders beware.
*Update* Since I wrote this review, I've ordered one more time to see if they would redeem themselves with the quality. The 2 orders of the same food had one plate looking extremely skimpy as if food was taken out. The person looked up my order history, probably saw this review and told me they would not deliver to me anymore. I live one block away. I will give Spicy Shallot a chance now. Hopefully they treat their locals with more respect. *UPDATE* they dont.
Got Massaman Duck and Drunken Noodles for the wifey. Massaman Curry is usually yellow at ayada. The duck was in Blood red colored curry. I am of indian descent. I know the difference between just extra spicy... and someone putting in wayyyy too much extra chilli powder (which can potentially cause gastrointestinal problems). I could taste the overloaded chilli powder and it looked and seemed intentional. Apparently when you click just "spicy" they still don't give you EXACTLY what you want. Big surprise. Thai Spicy is not the same as spicy. Seemless orders still beware. This is a vindictive establishment. They don't respect your food here.
Went in person on 8/15/14. The staff was fast and efficient. The food was amazing. Best duck Ive had again. However... this is still seamless. I will try to get delivery one more time and then write a last review.
They jacked the price of duck online up to $29? Now they are just being cocky. Its good... but its not worth 29 dollars. GTFOH

Great Thai food! Very prompt and accurate order. We love the drunken noodle and the panang curry! Spicy and good quality!

I used to have awesome experiences here, but perhaps because of their popularity they've slipped. The last three times I ordered their Drunken Noodles, the food was poor - no different than a barely decent pad cee yew. On the third occasion I went so far as to put a note in the comment field to make my dish up to their old standard - made no difference - poor. Quality falloff plus small portion sizes (which I don't mind so much when the food is awesome) leads me to three stars unfortunately.

Great food and super fast delivery!

Once again, they've proven to please. We ordered the chicken and shrimp dumpling appetizer. They were warm and moist, delicious. The dipping sauce an excellent accompaniment. We again chose the larb (chicken, spicy) and it was... HOT! I mean to tell ya... I even pulled perhaps eight 1/4" pieces of dried red chili from it. We had to go through it in rounds. I enjoy it a bit more like I make it; a sauce thickened with ground toasted rice. This had quite a bit of loose sauce.

Solid place for Thai food.
Their coconut pudding is amazing! Also great pad thai, papaya salad, thai iced tea, and all appetizers are pretty good. You can't go wrong.

The food is great! I have ordered from this several times and has never failed to disappoint. Try the BBQ pork appetizer! It is delicious.

THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST DRUNKEN NOODLES!!! IF YOU HAVEN'T ORDERED THEM, DO IT!
Posted 2 years ago by Safiyya D.
One of my favorite Thai places in Queens, their drunken noodles and red curry are fantastic. The only problem is that the delivery guys tend to be a bit rude, but the food makes up for it!
Posted 2 years ago by Brianna R.
The food here is always delicious and delivery is fast and easy. Be careful when ordering spice, though because Medium is extremely spicy.

I have gone to Ayada several times to eat there and loved it. There is no better Thai food in Queens. Delivery is quick and easy through Seamless, and my order arrived on time from a friendly delivery guy. I didn't give Ayada 5 starts because despite all of this, something seems to be lacking with the food we received. It could just be that all delivery food loses something, and Ayada is still heads above most of this. Could be that eating at home takes away some of the excitement of eating out. Still if you want the taste of a great restaurant at home, I can highly recommend trying Ayada.

Best Thai in my area. The Basil Fried Rice is great every time. The delivery is super fast and never disappoints!

Very good curry and pad Thai. Good satay and fried bananas. Delicious!
Posted 3 years ago by Steven W.
One of my new favorite places to order from. I place orders for deliveries at least 3x a month. The mango seafood salad is a must have.
Be sure to specify if you want mild spicy. Thai spicy is otherworldly and not for the faint of heart.

Everything I order from this place is good. I have ordered delivery about a half dozen times and every time was fast and the food is still hot and good. Just recently got the Stewed Beef Tendon Soup...very excellent if you like this sort of stuff. Another favorite is the Pad Gai-Gua and Catfish in Spicy sauce.

Food was good--delivery time leaned towards the longer side of things though. All in all will continue to order from here. Just wish the delivery guy would be a bit more careful when handling orders containing drinks.

I don't think I've ever had Thai food as good as here. I even got these little ceramic cups that they fill their coconut pudding with; a nice little bonus to an already delectable meal.

Good food but I just waited 75 minutes when they estimated 30-45 and its not a busy time.

Hi there. First and foremost I would like everyone to see what the "Shrimp and Chicken Dumplings" that this place sells for $5 looks like:
Please let that sink in. Those 4 dumplings were $5. Making them $1.25 each. To make matters worse, there weren't even a trace of shrimp inside. It looked and tasted like a pork dumpling.
On their menu it is listed as: "A-5 Steam Dumpling with Chicken and Shrimp Appetizer $5.00"
The Chicken Pad Thai wasn't great but wasn't bad either. I would give them two stars for this. However, minus another star for outrageous delivery service.
Delivery man called my cell phone, I did not answer, as I was expecting my door bell to ring. I saw the missed call and called back (within 1-2 minutes), no answer. 4 minutes later, the restaurant called me, complaining that I did not answer. I complained that my doorbell did not ring. Guy on the phone said, and I quote "OK I will allow him to come back". Please have him ring my bell I said.
Delivery man calls my cell again, telling me to "come down". I said no, you come up please. He hung up. I went down to my buildings entrance and there was no one to be found. After standing there for 3 minutes, a guy on a bike showed up with my food. I tipped him another $2 since he had to make two trips. So I spent just under $26 for what should have been about $8-9 worth of food. Its also worth noting that this place is 4 blocks away, so delivery shouldn't have been a problem.

Timely delivery and tasty tasty food. Only ever had the pad thai (tasty and savory) and the crab/pork rolls, but I would recommend them both.
Posted 3 years ago by Emma M.
My favorites are Sautéed Bean Thread with Shrimp, Chicken and Egg, Pad Thai and Green Curry. Crab roll appraiser is very good but more pork taste than crab. I would like a little bit lower delivery minimum. The spice is pretty good even for mild. Delivery has always been timely. Best thai in the neighborhood.

This is now our go-to Thai delivery place (we're in Jackson Heights). And so easy through Seamless. We've order three times so far and everything was on time and spot on. Food is well prepared and delicious. Still working our way through the menu.

The chive dumplings are perfect. The curries are delicious. Service is prompt and perfect. You all know this place is awesome, and I have nothing but positive things to add.

We are regular customers of Ayada Thai. We have spent hundreds of dollars at our home with Seamless deliveries, deliveries to our friends homes and even deliveries to work.
Tonight we spent almost $5 cash to get some extra peanut sauce! Ridiculous! The gentleman from Ayada called me to say I would have to give the driver cash for 2 $2.00 containers of peanut sauce. They used to be quite large and were perfect for a group of four or five people. Tonight they sent us two tiny little cups and had the audacity to charge us $2 for each of them! We ordered almost $70 in food and that is the best they could do?
We always have issues with getting peanut sauce delivered. We don't understand why they cannot post on their web page with Seamless, in an extra side area, a place to order different sizes of peanut sauce.
We love their food, but are not that fond of their customer service.

This is some of the best Thai food I have ever had, and we have pretty high standards. They are very consistent and delivery is always prompt. Such variety in the menu but our favorites are so good we end up ordering similar items every time! Highly recommended!

This place aims to please! Really good food, decent prices and portions and so very flavorful. I've tried all thai places in the area that deliver to Jackson Heights and this by far stands out! We order the Drunken Noodles, Pad Kra Prow, Massaman Curry, Pad Thai, Pad See Eew, etc. They are really good! Strongly recommend! :)

Fabulous food! Was reading below and saw one delivery complaint but that must have been an anomaly, because every time I've used them they've been prompt and efficient. We love Pad See Ew, Drunken Noodles, Sauteed Pork Curry Paste, various curries, and the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert whenever mangos are in season!

As others have said - it's the best Thai in New York City (Sripraphai is a close second). Plus, their delivery is almost always within 30 minutes.

EVERYTHING from here is amazing. I've never had anything that I wasn't left wishing I had more when it was finished. Highly recommend the Pad Kra Pow with crispy pork.

consistently poor quality. I gave this restaurant a few tries, but haven't been happy with any of my orders. Shoddy cooking and tasteless.

The best Thai food in NYC...I jest not. So lucky to have Ayada nearby but I'd travel for it if necessary.
Posted 4 years ago by Mark W.
Consistently awesome and delicious. One of my favorite spots!
Posted 4 years ago by Mark D.
Though the sauces/curry bases are good, the food is overpriced, the portions are small, and the amount of vegetables is pathetically small (there were five broccoli florets and no other vegetables in the crispy shrimp, which was also not at all crispy).
But the real deal-killing surprise was that there was a bone, or bonelike substance, inside the vegetarian-duck dish. This has not happened when I have ordered from them before, so I am giving two stars instead of one.

Always good. One of the best Thai in Queens. One of the few that actually understand "Thai spicy" and actually do just that.
Posted 4 years ago by Richard D.
The food is less than exciting. It tastes and looks like every other mediocre Thai place in Queens.Save your money and go get a burger or a slice of pizza somewhere.

effing awesome. we think we will order from somewhere else. then we don't.

I have never been disappointed when ordering delivery from this restaurant. Usually places skimp and poorly prepare dishes for delivery, but everything is so flavorful from here. Be careful with spice level. I can usually stand mild and medium, but spicy is really spice (they put lots of chopped up chili peppers that you will bite into with every bite). I usually go for the drunken noodle or pad khee mao, but hope to branch to other dishes very soon. This is the best Thai place in Jackson Heights/Elmhurst area that I have tried so far. I highly recommend this restaurant. Delivery is speedy and the receptionists are very kind. I am a big fan obviously!
Posted 5 years ago by Brienne L.
This place is a total rip off. Their prices are high for the area (and for Thai food in general). For example, the $6 fried banana desert comes with two tiny fried banana pieces and some artificially dyed ice cream. The Pad Thai was mediocre and poorly seasoned at best (and barely that with a lot of water at the bottom of the container). The Tom Yum soup came with 2 shriveled shrimps and the rest was entirely comprised of cheap button mushrooms. The order came with no utensils, napkins, or condiments. Will not order from this place ever again.
Posted 5 years ago by Alison P.
Very good thai - one of my favorite in the neighborhood. Beware - they do not fool around with the heat. Thai spicy will do some damage -but taste so good. My favorite dish is drunken noodles - very flavorful.
Posted 5 years ago by Joseph L.
not a good order - the food just didnt taste good - I threw it away
I wont order from this place again

Got the green curry and the drunken noodles, everything was delicious, exactly the "heat" level we requested, and delivered quickly. Also, the mango sticky rice was heaven.

I love this place, could eat here every night!
Posted 5 years ago by Clover Y.
I rate the delivery for this place, not the food. I waited for over an hour, on a weeknight, and I still didn't receive my food. Finally, I called. They told me the guy left more than 15 minutes ago, and he hadn't called me yet. They tried to get a hold of him but couldn't. Finally I went outside to see if he was there. He was--with ice cold food. I live about 4 blocks from the restaurant, so this was inexcusable. They were also NOT apologetic. Check out Spicy Shallot or MANY other great Thai places in the neighborhood that understand delivery.

Hainanese chicken with ginger sauce over chicken stock rice and the northern thai sausage last week. both were delivered in a reasonable amount of time. price is just right. the sausage was great but i think it did something to my insides as i became BFF with the toliet for 2 days.
